President Bush is a closet Orthodox Christian
On election night I saw this photo op virtually live, but I never noticed the icon on the corner table.
Seems a lot of Catholics noticed it and are claiming Bush as a future one of their own, but surely if he were going to Rome it would have been a statue, right?
I suspect it was a gift given to the President and First Lady. Still, pretty cool that it is not sitting in some box gathering dust.
