For some reason when I read:

"Nicholas Humphrey, evolutionary psychologist at the London School of Economics, who has visited the family..."

I though it said London School of Ergonomics :)

How can you be a professor of evolutionary psychology? How can you study the psychology of creatures thousands of years extinct??? (Or is it studying the psychological effect of evolutionary ideology on society?)

That's a good question Basil...I have no idea. I've heard a read "evolutionary biologists", but I can't imagine what this guy would do.
