2 Thess. 1:9

New King James Version (NKJV)
These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power

New International Version (NIV)
They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power

1) If I might offer a humble correction, it's 2 Thess., not 1 Thess.

2) The NKJV is more accurate to the Greek rendering...so I'd say the NIV is interpreting (but they do this in not a few other places as well.
