When I became Orthodox I always loved the story of St. Alexis's conversion not least because Archbishop John Ireland Blvd. was so often traversed - and because of the Cathedral he built so prominently in St. Paul (the only stipulation he gave the architect was that its dome be bigger than the Capitol's which is down the hill from the Cathedral.)

I love to venerate St. Alexis's relics at St. Tikhon's.
