They are wonderful reviews, James. I couldn't fault them; thanks.

Btw, why do you call her 'Khouria'?

It is an honorific title of sorts. "Khouria" is the Arabic term for priest's wife. In more Russian influenced parishes she is called "Matushka" which is roughly translated "mother" and in Greek parishes she might often be called the feminized "Presbytera"

They are both great reviews!
These are excellent reviews! In fact, I'd have to say, I was really quite impressed at her digging right to the heart of the Orthodox perspective on atonement. Recently this topic came up, and I had to go dig up several books to review what the Orthodox believe about the atonement. I wanted to post something about it on my blog, but in the end the topic of conversation died out and I didn't. Now I see there was no need. She does a slam-dunk at encapsulating the differences between the Western and the Orthodox concepts of atonement! Many Years to Frederica! http://www.beliefnet.com/story/180/story_18039_2.html
