I find it amusing that the article actually deals with those folks with piercings who might use the bed.

I thought that: "Although people with piercings should have no problem sleeping on the bed, Ruijssenaars advises them against entering the magnetic field between the bed and the floor..." was pretty funny too!
I can just imagine someone's ear getting ripped open as an ear-ring gets sucked toward the bottom of the bed. Or the floor. Or both.
And then again, dropping your keys under the bed could be problematic and life endangering.
