The World's Largest BBQ

French chef Christian Falco has prepared the world's largest barbecue -- spit-roasting a 550-kilo (1,213-pound) camel for 15 hours at a seaside Moroccan town south of Rabat.(AFP/Abdelhak Senna)

They had me salivating until they said "camel." Camel?!?! Well, I'd try it.

Time to upgrade, Rade?

So here's the question: Is a camel more in line with Antiochian tradition than is, say, a pig?

Whatever you do, don't let our parish council see this :-)

If properly elevated, and equipped with a heavier spit, I'm sure my machine could handle a beast weighing well over 1200lbs. The 1hp gear reduction motor has plenty of torque.
What say we get a collection going and roast a 1500lb cow next year!
