For the first time in 100 years a Russian Head of State has an Orthodox Funeral.

I suppose that historic proportions here out shines the question of whether Yeltsin was to any degree a regular communicant.

I did see that he had been baptized into the Church in the early '90s, so presumably, whether or not he was a "regular" communicant, he was considered an Orthodox Christian. Memory eternal, Boris Nikolayevich!
