Taking comfort that these terrorists were not connected with a world-wide network is stupid...moreso that our government and the media try to soothe us with it. As Andrew McCarthy puts it very well: "we need to open our eyes to what motivates jihadists. It is powerful, enduring and frightening because it is a doctrine, not an organization."

I think most Serbs - certainly the two former commentators - get this.
