Summing up my mood...

Terri is starving, Jessica is dead, and Ivy League schools are doing studies trying to prove that abstinence is actually more of an STD risk than...ummmm..well not abstaining, I guess. What a profoundly stupid world we live in and the full extent of its stupidity is found and summarized in the fact that fashion designers earn money and esteem for this:

Someone give me a hug...I'm feeling a bit low.

James, you do need a hug. Ivy league schools have been doing relevant and irrelevant studies for centuries, kidnapings do happen and the fashion world is rarely fashionable, why are you so angery.

We are to exude grace, especially through this season, not try to pull the plank out of someone's eye.

And as for Terri and the gassing of the mentally handicaped, not sure there's a connection. I have had many Christian (and in knowing them well, I do not declare this lightly) friends whose family memebers have met a similar fate and they were quite in favor of euthanasia, yet we as christians are usually in favor of the death penalty. I find that odd. Especially when the argument has been death is God's timing. And death row isn't free from mistake.

Just thoughts.

So where's my hug Joel?

This study has an agenda...the media has an agenda...I don't like that agenda...I think that agenda is wrong...I have kids who I am hoping to teach to practice abstinence...nuff said.

There is a HUGE connection, Joel, subtle though it may be...its all about quality of life. Be careful with the use of the word Euthanasia...it's one thing to unplug life support, it is another to starve someone whose parents believe they have an interavtive relationship with them. Wonder what the ACLU would say, Joel, if we tried to starve Scott Peterson to death?

Bob...LOL

"why are you so angry"

Okay...so I truly HATE to make the comparison...but you might have asked Jesus the same thing when he went ballistic over people not respecting the holiness of the Temple. Yeah yeah..He is God incarnate and I am simply James incarnate, I know I know.

To everything there is a season though...and recognizing that we all have planks in our eyes doesn't mean we cannot take a moment to call good good and evil evil.

Anyway...all of that to say...I'm feeling better now. Still hate the piece of fecal matter who molested and killed Jessica Lunsford, but I reckon I'll get over that. Sometimes I envy the Iranian justice system that just gave such an individual 100 lashes before hanging him publically. No ACLU in Iran.

The REAL question that should be asked of me: Why am I babbling online at 2AM, when I know my kids will have me up for Litrugy in 4 hours?

You are correct, the REAL question is what the heck are you doing up?
