Men, stout hearted men!

In a comment to an earlier post, Stacy references this interesting article.

I wonder if secularism doesn't a play a role here as well, in that we are willing to suffer ANYTHING as long as we think we might live? Surely this is what must have gone through the heads of some of the victims of the Wichita Massacre (an unthinkably horrible crime)? I don't THINK I could have stood still and let it all happen.

Anyway...are we feminizing our men?

I am not sure if men are being feminized. Such reports tend to be anecdotal. I have less confidence than you that I wouldn't stand by and do nothing and I was born and grown up before feminism became a religion.

On the other hand, something is happening to men if college enrollment is any indication. Likewise, a few minutes of observation of the current media will show who the evil doers are. Seemingly mostly middle age business men if not relgious figures. I wish the guys at work were this interesting!

Perhaps we are not so much femenizing men as we are masculinizing women...? At least, that's what it looks like more from this perspective...
