Does TV cause Autism and ADHD?

While the studies have the type of holes in them that I traditionally love to note...there is something inside me that suspects they are on to something here.

I totally agree with this. I also have read where if the TV is turned off and not watched at all, there is the possibility of reversing the damage done to the synapsis.

I totally buy the ADHD connection. It makes perfect sense and I'd even go so far to say that American culture has ADHD due to our reliance on the soundbyte and failure, as a culture, to delve into real issues. We love band-aids, not cures.

However, having much personal experience with autism, I doubt a concrete linkage.
